Norwegian Cruise Line is adding a popular adults-only area to two of its ships.
Norwegian Jewel and Norwegian Pearl will be getting the Vibe Beach Club while in dry dock later this year. The kid-free space will feature 54 premium lounge chairs, seven private cabanas, a bar and a hot tub on Deck 14. Guests will be able to enjoy amenities like chilled towels, water misters and fruit skewers, too.
Guests can access Vibe Beach Club for an additional fee, and pre-bookings are now open.
Norwegian Jewel¡¯s three-week dry dock is slated for Setember 25 to October 15. Once it emerges, it will home port in Miami and offer Panama Canal and Caribbean cruises.
Norwegian Pearl is scheduled to undergo its renovation from November 3-23 and will also be based in Miami. The ship will offer various sailings to the Bahamas, the Caribbean and the Panama Canal cruises.
Both vessels will also make stops at Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian¡¯s private destination in the Bahamas.
The company recently unveiled plans to add a massive waterpark to the destination, featuring 19 waterslides, cliff jumps, a 9,000-square-foot splash zone, swim-up bars, a nearly 800-foot dynamic river, a new jet kars water track and other experiences. Other upgrades¡ªinluding a new pier¡ªare also in the works.
