The engagement announcement of the century, one eagerly awaited by fans the world over, arrived via Instagram yesterday.

After two years of dating, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are preparing to walk down the aisle. Naturally, the news cycle has been thrown into overdrive by the momentous announcement.

And, given the significance of this development, Swifties worldwide have questions: What will Swift¡¯s wedding dress look like? Who will be in the bridal party, and will it include fellow celebs? Is the wedding going to be a big affair? Or will the happy couple keep their nuptials small and family-focused??

Yet another all-important question: Where might the power couple's wedding and honeymoon take place??

Predictions about the potential location of these twp events abound. Within the span of just 24-hours, dozens of publications across the country have weighed-in. The frenzy has also grown to include destinations, hotels, and resorts making their own pitches via social media to land the Swift-Kelce extravaganza.?

To help sort through the many potential location options, TravelPulse reached out to travel industry experts, travel advisors and more. Here are their location predictions and suggestions for the forthcoming wedding and honeymoon that has captivated the world.

Italy, Italy, Italy

A gorgeous country with countless stunning locales, it¡¯s no surprise that Italy is among the most popular predictions and suggestions for the Swift-Kelce wedding and honeymoon.

The country has already served as the backdrop for more than a few iconic celebrity weddings. (George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin, for example).

Maryland-based luxury travel advisor McLean Robbins, owner and founder of Lily Pond Luxury, suggests Clooney¡¯s own Lake Como (where he maintains a home), is the ultimate storybook location. In particular, she suggests the five-star Passalacqua Hotel, which is perched on the banks of Lake Como.

The sumptuous villa dates back to the end of the 18th century and is the result of an enlargement of a property that once belonged to Pope Innocent XI.

Robbins, who regularly plans milestone events for high net worth individuals, says Passalacqua offers ¡°an intimate size¡­cascading terraced gardens, and a cinematic lakefront setting that guarantees both romance and discretion.¡±

¡°It¡¯s the most coveted private estate in Italy right now, ideal for a wedding that feels timeless yet intimate,¡± adds Robbins, one of many travel experts who think Italy is the location to beat when it comes to wedding picks.

Breanne Crawford, an Pennsylvania-based travel advisor with Travel Leaders, also suggests Italy would be a ¡°dream setting¡± for the famous lovebirds. And for more reasons then just the country¡¯s natural beauty and historic charm.?

¡°With Taylor¡¯s love of wine and baking, the country¡¯s rich culinary traditions and vineyard culture would feel deeply personal and meaningful,¡± says Crawford.

¡°Tuscany, Lake Como, and the Amalfi Coast all offer breathtaking venues where rolling hills, historic villas, and sparkling waters create a cinematic backdrop for the ceremony and celebrations,¡± Crawford continues. ¡°A wedding in Italy combines romance, artistry, and timeless beauty¡ªperfect for unforgettable vows and iconic photos that match the fairytale energy of their love story.¡±

Jennifer Byrne, CEO of Pennsylvania-based The Tropical Travelers offers a vote for the Amalfi Coast and specifically the drool-worthy, five-star Hotel Santa Catarina Amalfi.

The hotel, which first opened its doors to guests in 1904, offers picturesque views of the ocean, Mediterranean design, and Amalfi-style villas.

¡°This hotel is the epitome of Southern Italy and would present itself as a gorgeous spot for their wedding and honeymoon. It¡¯s a true showstopper,¡± says Byrne.

Rhode Island: Gilded Age luxury

Rhode Island is famous for being the location of the opulent mansions owned by titans of industry around the turn of the century, giving rise to the name The Gilded Age.

It¡¯s a backdrop that Robbins says would make for an ideal wedding for one of the most financially successful music artists of our time. ??One property in particular would be especially fitting, suggests Robbins: Ocean House on Watch Hill.

Perched high on the bluffs of Watch Hill, the five-star Ocean House is an iconic New England seaside resort. Known for its warm yellow facade and stunning views of the Atlantic, the Victorian-style Ocean House opened in 1868 just after the Civil War.

The resort sits on 13 acres of oceanfront landscape and overlooks a 650-foot private white-sand beach with views of Montauk, Block Island and the Atlantic Ocean.

¡°It¡¯s classic Americana at its best,¡± Robbins explains. ¡°Sweeping Atlantic views, Gilded Age grandeur, and flawless service.¡±

¡°The location also has the distinct advantage of feeling simple for Taylor, as she already owns a mansion next door, and it offers prestige and privacy while staying logistically simple for guests, many of whom may have to work around NFL schedules,¡± adds Robbins.

Jordana Izzo, a travel advisor with Travelmation, also suggests a Rhode Island wedding makes perfect sense for the powerhouse couple.

¡°Rhode Island continues to be one of the premium wedding destinations in the world,¡± says Izzo. ¡°For honeymoon, I see them doing a romantic European adventure. Maybe Croatia or down the Amalfi Coast. Something with amazing views and culture for creativity.¡±

Costa Rica: Pura Vida

As father of an 11-year-old daughter, Casey Halloran is a self-professed? ¡°closet Swiftie.¡±?

He¡¯s also the CEO and co-founder of Costa Rican Vacations?and his prediction is that the Swift-Kelce honeymoon will take place in Costa Rica. Here¡¯s why: ¡°If they want an ideal, low-stress honeymoon, Costa Rica checks every box,¡± explains Halloran.

First and foremost, says Halloran, Costa Rica offers an easy escape. It¡¯s a short flight from flight from Kansas City, Los Angeles or New York City ¡ª making it quick enough for a post-tour getaway, yet far enough to feel worlds away.
Privacy is also guaranteed in Costa Rica, suggests Halloran.

¡°Locals here are famously respectful of celebrity guests,¡± Halloran continues. ¡°Unlike Mexico or the Caribbean, paparazzi coverage is virtually nonexistent ¡ª a big deal for the world¡¯s most photographed couple. Costa Rica is frequently visited by stars who want to fly under the radar."

Yet another reason why Costa Rica should be the running for either the wedding or the honeymoon? It offers ultra-luxury options.

The options include brand-new Waldorf Astoria and Ritz-Carlton properties, which put Costa Rica on par with Europe¡¯s top hideaways. Add the legendary Four Seasons Papagayo, and you¡¯ve got a trio of sanctuaries worthy of a world-famous couple.

Finally, says Halloran, Costa Rica aligns with Swift¡¯s passions and personality in many ways.

¡°Taylor has long championed nature and sustainability, while Travis is outdoorsy,¡± he explains. ¡°Costa Rica offers both serene beaches for unplugging, and adrenaline-filled excursions like zip-lining or surfing.¡±

Ireland: Castles and manors befitting royalty

With its lush green countryside, rolling hills and countless romantic castles, Ireland is another top prediction from travel advisors and industry experts.

More specifically, the five-star Adare Manor,?was named-dropped by several industry experts who suggest the property would provide an ideal honeymoon or wedding setting for the two mega-stars.?

The fairytale manor sits in 840 acres of gently rolling parkland in the heart of Ireland along the banks of the glittering River Maigue.

¡°Adare Manor in Ireland brings castle gravitas with full estate buyout potential,¡± advises Robbins, of Lily Pond Luxury. ¡°Its historic stone architecture and formal gardens create the ultimate fairytale backdrop, while modern luxury ensures the wedding feels as comfortable as it does regal.¡±

¡°For a couple that mixes ¡®new money; with ¡®old world charm,¡¯ this hotel feels the right blend of fairy tale and modern,¡± adds Robbins.

Byrne, of Travel Leaders, says Adare Manor ranks among her top choices for pop culture royalty like Swift-Kelce. ¡°This would be a true fairytale wedding location fit for a royal couple,¡± says Byne.

¡°This is the storybook Taylor and Travis didn¡¯t even know existed in their wildest dreams," she adds.

Off-the-grid options

When you're one of the most famous couples in the world, wedding and honeymoon privacy is not easy to come by. But here too, the travel experts have some valuable insights (predictions) surrounding the Swift-Kelce options.

For starters, it doesn't get more private then renting out an entire island.

¡°Jumby Bay in Antigua is the quintessential private-island buyout¡ªno cars, just bikes and golf carts, with villas and suites tucked into tropical gardens,¡± says Robbins. It¡¯s barefoot luxury at its peak, giving couples total control."

The Exumas offer an equally remote and picturesque option, says Laurie Beckmann, an advisor with Travel Leaders.

¡°The Exumas are truly the most magical waters in the Caribbean¡ªcrystal clear, impossibly blue, and endlessly captivating,¡± says Beckmann. ¡°I have always adored Fowl Cay, but for a truly private, off-the-grid escape, I imagine Taylor and Travis would fall in love with taking over Overyander Cay. It¡¯s a rare and little-known gem, a secluded island retreat embraced by the most dazzling water on earth."

There¡¯s a reason so many celebrities choose to own their islands here: The Exumas are not only breathtakingly beautiful, but also remarkably accessible from the U.S.¡ªa perfect blend of exclusivity and ease.

One last droolworthy local fit for the most well-known couple in the world - French Polynesia, which includes Bora Bora and Taha¡¯a.
