Hurtigruten has unveiled a new premium category for travelers booking its voyages along the coast of Norway. The new all-inclusive offerings are called Signature voyages.
Last year, the company launched the Svalbard Express and the North Cape Express¡ªthe first two premium sailings in Hurtigruten¡¯s 130-year history. For the 2025-26 season, those itineraries are being rebranded as The Svalbard Line and the North Cape Line, respectively, to ¡°reflect the expansion and product enhancements, while also differentiating them further from the Original Coastal Express products,¡± according to Hurtigruten.
The premium offerings will feature all-inclusive culinary offerings and premium beverages, enhanced guiding, exclusive activities, longer port stays and relaxation amenities.
"Our Signature voyages embody the essence of Norwegian coastal cruising," says Hedda Felin, CEO of Hurtigruten. "Each itinerary has been thoughtfully designed to ensure our guests embark on a journey that captures the very essence of Norway's coastal charm and heritage."
The North Cape Line will be offered between fall and spring onboard MS Trollfjord. Departing from Oslo, the ship visits 14 ports, including eight days above the Arctic Circle.
Then, from May to September, MS Trollfjord will sail The Svalbard Line from Bergen to Svalbard.
Hurtigruten will continue to offer its Original Coastal Express, which connects local communities along the Norwegian coast.?
¡°Refining how we organize our offerings makes it easier for guests, agents and other partners to navigate,¡± says Felin. ¡°Seamless from the initial dreaming and research phase, they can choose between Original voyages for The Coastal Express or Signature voyages comprising The North Cape Line and The Svalbard Line.¡±
The cruise line has also doubled its departure capacity from Oslo so that more guests can sail between Norway's southernmost to northernmost points during the 2025-26 season.
"Oslo stands out as perhaps the most happening Scandinavian capital, offering a vibrant fusion of culture and nature," says Felin. "This expansion provides travelers with greater flexibility in planning their Norwegian coastal adventure, allowing them to embark on their journey from the dynamic heart of Norway's capital city."
