American Cruise Lines has christened its newest ship, American Patriot.
Last week, the company held a traditional ceremony in Newport, Rhode Island, to officially welcome the first ship in its new Patriot Class.
The 130-passenger vessel will soon be joined by sister ships American Pioneer, American Maverick and American Ranger, which are slated to debut later this year and into 2026.?
¡°We are so pleased to be back in Newport this summer, christening yet another new U.S. ship and celebrating the Fourth of July with our guests,¡± says Charles B. Robertson, president and chief executive officer of American Cruise Lines.
¡°We are especially honored to be joined by American Patriot¡¯s godmother, Susan Daly, president of Sail Newport, and so many of our Eagle Society members, who cruise with us again and again, whole-heartedly supporting our mission to offer the finest cruise explorations for discovering and re-discovering America,"?Robertson continued.
The company also kicked off the countdown to America¡¯s 250th anniversary in 2026. To celebrate the milestone, the line is offering several new extended cruises that aim to highlight the nation¡¯s history and grandeur.
