      May can be an interesting month in the aviation business.

      The hullabaloo over the beginning of the year is over and airlines are preparing for summer. And this is expected to be a busy and lucrative summer for the industry.

      With the exception of airplane manufacturer Boeing, it has been a fairly quiet month. Perhaps no news is truly good news.

      Here are a few of the standout headlines from the last few weeks.
