Explora Journeys, MSC¡¯s luxury ocean cruise line, is launching a new collection of Pre- and Post-Journey Destination Immersions for its newly released 2027 Alaska and Western Canada itineraries, giving travelers an easy way to continue exploring the beautiful region.?
The Destination Immersions range from three to five nights long and feature deluxe rail travel and unique experiences guests likely won¡¯t be able to enjoy while onboard.?

Alaska Destination Immersions
Travelers heading to Alaska onboard the EXPLORA III can enjoy two Pre-Journey Destination Immersions and two Post-Journey Destinations Immersions.?
The Alaska Immersion is a three-night pre-cruise experience that visits Anchorage, Denali and Talkeetna, with a deluxe dome rail trip, a visit to Denali National Park and the Iditarod Headquarters, along with a trip to Talkeetna.?
The Alaskan Adventure is a four-night pre-cruise experience from Fairbanks to Denali and Girdwood. Featuring two nights in Denali, the trip includes luxury rail and a visit to glaciers.?
For those wanting to stay longer after their cruise has ended, the Encounter Alaska¡¯s Soul is a three-night exploration of Talkeetna, Denali and Anchorage, while Into the Alaskan Wilderness is a longer four-night journey to Girdwood, Denali and Fairbanks.?
The Canadian Rockies?
Travelers embarking or disembarking from a cruise in Vancouver have the opportunity to extend their Canadian trip with a pre- or post-cruise rail voyage to the Canadian Rockies onboard the luxury Rocky Mountaineer.?
