As it marks its
34th year in operation, celebrated luxury rail provider Rocky
Mountaineer is ushering in a new era with the appointment of a new, second-generation
chief executive officer. Keeping the business in the family, the company has just
appointed Tristan Armstrong, son of Founder Peter Armstrong, to succeed his
father as CEO.?

and Chelsea, and I have grown up with the business, so to become the CEO and
build on this family legacy?is truly an honor and a privilege,"
said?Tristan Armstrong. "I look forward to being even more involved

Having already
served on the Board of Directors since 2016, Tristan brings a wealth of
experience to his new position. His career journey within Rocky Mountaineer has
been diverse, and he has worked across various departments, including in operations
and guest experience. Through these roles, he has developed a keen
understanding of guest service, maintenance and hospitality, a vital skill set
for steering the company forward.?
Additionally,
Tristan serves as the President and CEO of Major Rock Corporation, a multi-generational
enterprise operated by the Armstrong family, which encompasses businesses in the
hospitality, real estate and private equity sectors, as well as a philanthropic
arm in the Armstrong Family Foundation.

With Tristan
assuming the CEO role, attention now turns to filling the position of
President/Chief Operating Officer, who will be responsible for overseeing
day-to-day company operations. This as-yet-undetermined individual will work
closely with Tristan to build the company's long-term growth strategy and navigate
Rocky Mountaineer¡¯s strategic trajectory moving forward.
