Need some travel inspiration before you book your summer vacation? Delta Air Lines could be of assistance.
The Atlanta-based airline is sharing its most-searched destinations around the world ahead of the summer travel season. The carrier gathered data from booking searches across its website and app to show the destinations travelers are most interested in visiting during summer 2025.
European destinations dominated the list, with London, Paris, and Rome nabbing the top three spots respectively. Only one city in North America made the top 10 this year: Cancun, which is usually a dependable year-round favorite with American tourists, took the fourth spot.?
One destination in Asia¡ªTokyo¡ªalso made the list, ranking in sixth place. Delta says that the Japanese capital city has had a 54 percent increase in searches this year compared to 2024, which helped it jump from seventh place, where it ranked last year. Search traffic for Paris was also on the rise this year, with the City of Lights seeing a 16 percent increase in searches on Delta¡¯s booking platforms.
New to the list in 2025 is Lisbon, which ranked in tenth position, edging out last year¡¯s tenth place winner, Vancouver, by a thin margin of 6.5 percent.?

The airline also ranked its most-searched domestic destinations, too. New York City, Atlanta, and Orlando scooped up the top three spots on that list. Classic summer hotspots, like Los Angeles and Honolulu, were also listed. But smaller Midwestern cities, like Minneapolis and Detroit, made it into the top 10 as well.
