In May 2026, Delta Air Lines will launch two new routes to Madrid and Nice from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).?
With the new routes, Delta will serve a total of 12 European destinations out of Boston. ¡°As a cornerstone of Delta¡¯s global network, Boston plays a vital role in connecting our customers to the world,¡± said Paul Baldoni, Delta¡¯s senior vice president of network planning. ¡°By adding nonstop service to Madrid and Nice, we¡¯re enhancing our European network and continuing our commitment to providing an exceptional travel experience from start to finish.¡± ??
The airline will launch its new daily flights from BOS to Madrid (MAD) on May 16, 2026, followed by the debut of its thrice-weekly flights to Nice (NCE) on May 17. The Nice-bound flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Delta will use its Airbus A330-900neo planes to operate both routes. The widebody jets are outfitted with four fare classes, including 29 lie-flat suites with sliding privacy doors and Missoni amenities in Delta One business class. Among the other cabins on board are Delta Premium Select, the airline¡¯s premium economy product that features seats with leg rests and enhanced dining options, as well as Delta Comfort and Delta Main.
In addition to the route launches, the airline also plans to expand its existing European service out of Boston. Delta will begin daily flights from BOS to Barcelona (BCE) on May 7 and increase its service to Milan (MXP) to four flights per week on May 16. The seasonal flights are also launching earlier in 2026 to ¡°better align with seasonal demand and provide greater flexibility,¡± the airline said.
In recent years, Delta has made Boston one of its top focus cities, growing its capacity at the airport and launching numerous new routes there. The carrier says that over the past two decades, it has almost tripled its service at BOS, increasing the number of destinations it serves from the city from 25 to 70.
