Avanti Destinations introduced a pre- and post-cruise microsite, which includes 63 worldwide port cities, and is targeted to travel advisors who specialize in the cruise segment but are new to booking FIT vacations.
¡°Many advisors get started in FIT travel by booking pre- or post-cruise stays in port cities,¡± said Avanti Destinations Director of Web Services?Nate Guilfoyle.
¡°This new microsite has been designed to be particularly accessible and intuitive to use for advisors who book lots of cruises, but who have not yet tried booking pre and post with Avanti.¡±
The microsite offers a robust portfolio of options for three-, four- and five-star properties, tours, activities and transfers.
As an example, it features 49 hotels and 37 tours to choose in Barcelona, 31 hotels and 88 tours in Rome and 26 hotels and 47 tours in Kyoto.
¡°With our new microsite, there is no limit to the number of nights or excursions that can be added to a pre- or post-cruise stay,¡± Guilfoyle said, adding that there is a two-night minimum for land.
When advisors share booking information with their clients, agency and commissions do not appear but are included in the total price, with trip protection displayed separately.
Avanti Destinations creates customized for independent travelers, which are only sold through travel advisors. ?
