Trafalgar is expanding into river cruising.

The company, which specializes in guided land tours, will launch two European river cruise itineraries in the spring of 2026. Bookings are now open for travel advisors, ahead of the general public.

Trafalgar will debut two new journeys starting April 11, 2026. On the Danube River, it will offer an 8-day cruise on the 128-passenger Trafalgar Reverie. On the Rhine, it will offer a 10-day cruise on the 128-passenger Trafalgar Verity.?

The voyages will include local specialists, opportunities to collect with locals, onboard entertainment, wellness offerings, regional dining and experiences that support United Nations sustainable development goals.?

Trafalgar¡¯s news comes on the heels of a similar announcement from Lindblad Expeditions, which plans to expand into European river cruising in 2026. Celebrity Cruises will also enter the market in 2027.
