Two wellness travel associations are partnering up to launch a new global initiative called Core Wellness Standards for Hotels, which operates as a guide to help hotels integrate wellness into every part of the hotel experience.?

The two organizations, Wellness in Travel & Tourism (WITT) and the Wellness Tourism Association (WTA), developed the guide with help from the WITT Standards Advisory Committee, which has over 100 certification criteria across five essential wellness pillars.

The five pillars include healthy eating, holistic healing, nature, movement and local impact. Under each, hotels will find different criteria, such as offering dietary-inclusive meals on-property, integrating nature into everyday spaces and providing ways for guests to move and get active during their stay.?
