Delta
Air Lines is giving you more choices for warmth with new routes.
The
Atlanta-based carrier is offering new routes to Barbados, Puerto Plata and
Mazatlan, as well as expanded service to the island of Curacao.
The
flights will emanate from hubs in Atlanta, New York City (JFK) and Minneapolis.
¡°Delta is establishing vital
connections from Atlanta and across the U.S. that allow our customers to reach
their dream vacation destinations with ease," said Joe Esposito, Delta's
Senior Vice President of Network Planning.?
"This latest schedule gives travelers an unparalleled
choice, with up to 1,000 weekly flights to distinctive places throughout Latin
America and the Caribbean," Esposito continued.?
Delta will serve a total of 50 cities
in Latin America and the Caribbean next winter. Linking these destinations to
the airline's hubs in ATL, JFK, and MSP allows for connecting access from nearly 200
cities worldwide.?
Service
to each city starts later this year, including from Atlanta to Barbados on
November 23 and from New York to Barbados on December 21; to Puerto
Plata from Atlanta on November 23; and to Mazatlan from Minneapolis three times
a week, starting December 21.
As
for Curacao, part of the ABC chain of islands in the Caribbean along with Aruba
and Bonaire, Delta is also increasing flights from Atlanta from Saturday-only
to daily service, beginning November 23. ?
