Australia and New Zealand will take center stage during the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup kicking off this week and Air New Zealand is celebrating the month-long competition early with a three-week sale on flights from the U.S. to Australia.Now through August 6, 2023, travelers can book roundtrip flights from North American gateways such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, Chicago, New York and Honolulu to as many as nine Australian destinations from as low as $1,195.The three-week sale is valid on a handful of coveted places, including Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Hobart, Australia's Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast (seasonal), Cairns (seasonal) and Adelaide.Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney are among the nine host cities for this summer's World Cup, with Sydney hosting the final match on August 20.While reduced economy fares aren't eligible for travel during this summer's tournament, travelers booking premium economy and business premier class can travel at a discount as early as August 15.
