      Epcot Food & Wine

      1/10
The International Food & Wine Festival started at Disney's Epcot in 1996 and has steadily grown over the years. This year there are more than 30 marketplaces in the world showcase where you can taste everything from escargot stuffed croissants to a pancake milkshake.

When the event first started, it only lasted for 30 days. Now the festival runs for 75 days, starting on August 30 and running through November 12.

      Marketplaces

      2/10
Every year brings new marketplaces and new dishes. This year there will be 35 new marketplace dishes, 70 new non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, wines and beers (including seven festival exclusive brews).

      Sweet Treats

      3/10
It is estimated that more than 100,000 desserts will be served during the course of the festival. A list of all food options offered at each marketplace can be found here.

      How Many Chefs?

      4/10
The festival is an amazing feat only Disney could pull off. It will operate with 197 Disney and guest chefs to provide culinary delights from around the world. Celebrity chefs and visiting culinarians from eight countries and 20 US states will also be participating in the festival.

      Events Galore

      5/10
The fun doesn't end with the food. There will be nearly 400 events spanned across the 75 days of the festival including demonstrations, hands-on workshops, beverage seminars, cheese seminars, 32 musical acts (including nine new headliners), and the iconic nighttime performance Illuminations: Reflections of Earth.

      Sunday Special

      6/10
On Sundays, there will be a special "Sunday Brunch with the Chef" in World ShowPlace. Top Chef All-Star Richard Blais will kick off the series on September 2. Other chefs participating in the event are Jamie Deen, Tiffani Thiessen, Masaharu Morimoto, Buddy Valastro, Art Smith, Geoffrey Zakarian, Carla Hall and Alex Guarnaschelli.

      Scavenger Hunt

      7/10
Guests also have the opportunity to participate in Remy's Ratatouille Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt. Much like finding 'hidden Mickeys' throughout the Magic Kingdom, there will be 15 hidden Remy statuettes hidden throughout the World Showcase. For guests who participate, completed maps can be turned in to Disney Traders to choose a 'surprise'!

      Eat to the Beat

      8/10
Three times a night musical acts will gear up for Eat to the Beat, with a total of 225 shows in all. Featured headliners will be Vertical Horizon, Sheila E, 98 Degrees, MercyMe and Glass Tiger. Be sure to sign up for the Eat to the Beat Dining Package.

      Specialty Wining & Dining

      9/10
There are also Specialty Dining and Pairing events taking place throughout the festival, featuring a Mexican Tequila Lunch, Italian Regional Food & Wine Pairing Luncheon, Parisian Breakfast, and many more.

      What's Included?

      10/10
With so many added extras, it's important to know what your basic Epcot ticket admission will get you.

Here's what's included with regular Epcot admission:

      - The Back to Basics series
      - Book signings
      - Eat to the Beat concerts
      - Festival Passport and all attractions and park entertainment
