Celebrating the Holidays All Over the World at Walt Disney World

      1/24
'Tis the season for global holiday celebrations at the 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays at Walt Disney World. The multicultural celebration of holidays around the world is anchored in World Showcase but extends to every corner of the park with festive ride overlays, holiday treats, and returning traditions, like holiday storytellers and the Candlelight Processional. Here are some of the best things to eat, drink, watch and ride at the 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.

      Pick Up Your Festival Passport

      2/24
Get the run-down of all of the festival offerings in this handy guide. Grab one as soon as you enter the park and start planning your must-dos (and must-eats!). The booklet includes Holiday Kitchen menus, plus entertainment offerings and their locations. Just be sure to check My Disney Experience and in-park signage for up-to-date showtimes.

Eat and Drink Your Way Around Holiday Kitchens

      3/24
Sugar and spice, sweet and savory-sample holiday dishes from around the world at Holiday Kitchens throughout World Showcase. Most festival dishes are sold from the seasonal holiday kitchens, but some permanent locations like Refreshment Outpost, Refreshment Port, Joffrey's Coffee & Tea locations, and the Funnel Cake stand serve some of our favorite festival dishes-so make sure you don't overlook them.

      Holiday Storytellers Are a Can't-Miss

      4/24
Throughout World Showcase, holiday storytellers share stories and traditions about festive celebrations from around the world. In Norway, the Mischievous Magical Barn Santa visits Sigrid, a skeptical Christmas storyteller.

      La Befana

      5/24
In Italy, hear from La Befana, the warm-hearted witch who delivers gifts to Italian children on the Eve of the Epiphany.

      Hear Hanukkah Stories and Songs

      6/24
One of our favorite storytellers every year, the Hanukkah storyteller shares stories and songs about the holiday and how it's celebrated around the world. He also explains a bit more about some of the dishes served at the nearby L'Chaim! Holiday Kitchen.

      ?Feliz Navidad!

      7/24
Singing, dancing and the wonderful music of Mariachi Cobre accompany the story of Las Posadas in the Mexico pavilion. Watch until the end and you might even get a free lollipop.

      Lunar New Year Comes Early

      8/24
In the China pavilion, two performers don a stunning lion costume and become a four-legged marvel as the Chinese Lion Dancer in a performance meant to bring good fortune and happiness in the upcoming Lunar New Year.

Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire

      9/24
New last year, the Chestnuts & Good Cheer Holiday Kitchen is back again serving chestnuts fire-roasted and served to order, plus cinnamon-glazed almonds, cashews, and pecans. Sip sweet spiked drinks like Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co.'s Hazel Nutty-Cracker Sweet Stout, T.G. Lee Eggnog with Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey and, new this year, Firenog - T.G. Lee Eggnog with Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey.

      Cookie Time

      10/24
Is it even the holiday season without a few (or five) cookies? The Holiday Cookie Stroll is this festival's edible scavenger hunt. Collect a stamp in your festival booklet each time you buy one of eight different cookies from locations around the park. You can get five different ones or five of the same if you want to team up with friends. Collect all five stamps and pick up a free Holiday Cookie Stroll Festival Treat from Holiday Sweets & Treats near Port of Entry as your reward.

      L'Chaim!

      11/24
One of the festival's most popular booths, L'Chaim! Holiday Kitchen serves traditional Hanukkah dishes like Potato Latkes and Sufganiyot along with Jewish deli staples like Pastrami on Rye sandwiches and Black and White Cookies.

      Cheese, Please

      12/24
One of my favorite festival dishes every year, the Cheese Fondue in a Bread Bowl, is back again at the Bavaria Holiday Kitchen near the Germany pavilion. Served with steamed baby vegetables, marble potatoes, and cubes of bread for dipping, the cheese is smooth and creamy, the bread is fresh, and the vegetables help you pretend it's healthy. Pair with a German hard apple cider, cold Riesling, or hot spiced housemade Gl¨¹hwein.

      Hot Chocolate, Florida Style

      13/24
Okay really it's ¨¤ la Fran?aise, not a la Florida, but the Frozen Hot Chocolate Martini from Le March¨¦ de Noel Holiday Kitchen, made with Grey Goose Vanilla vodka and chocolate milk, is the answer to holiday "hot" chocolate on a hot day.

      Meet Santa

      14/24
For the first time in a couple years, kids can again sit on Santa's lap and share their holiday hopes. Visit jolly old St. Nick in the Odyssey pavilion through Christmas Eve, December 24.

Cookies for Santa and Take-Home Treats

      15/24
For a sweet treat while you wait for Santa, stop by Holiday Hearth Desserts, also in the Odyssey pavilion, for a selection of fresh-baked cookies and packaged treats like Peppermint Bark, Mouse Crunch and Snowball Cookies, perfect to take to-go.

New This Year - Nochebuena Cocina

      16/24
A new holiday kitchen this year celebrates Latin American cuisine, serving up Pernil, mojo pork with tostones and ketchup-mayonnaise, and a vegan Impossible Chorizo Tamale with plant-based cotija cheese and spicy red chile sauce. For a sweet treat, try the Alfajores, a vanilla shortbread cookie with dulce de leche and coconut - part of the cookie stroll. Wash it all down with a Horchata Beer or Chai Ginger Mule.

An Unexpected Highlight - Peanut Stew

      17/24
Our new favorite festival dish comes from Refreshment Outpost. This hearty bowl of Peanut Stew is made with sweet potatoes, mustard greens and roasted peanuts, served over white rice. The plant-based dish is rich and extremely flavorful, with a peanut-based sauce and some underlying heat. It's very filling and at just $5.25, a great value. Meat eaters should try this one too.

Voices of Liberty - Dickens Carolers

      18/24
During the festival, the Voices of Liberty perform in the rotunda of The American Adventure Pavilion as Dickens Carolers, singing original renditions of traditional holiday classics.

      The Candlelight Processional Returns

      19/24
One of Walt Disney World's most beloved holiday traditions, the Candlelight Processional is performed nightly in the America Gardens Theatre. A 50-piece orchestra, herald trumpets and the Voices of Liberty accompany the Walt Disney World Cast choir and a celebrity narrator in a retelling of the Christmas Story. Shows are at 5:15 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Dining packages are available and guaranteed seating at a designated show. For standby seating, guests should enter the queue closest to the Italy pavilion.

Greenhouses Glimmer in Living With the Land

      20/24
Twinkling lights and holiday d¨¦cor adorn Living with the Land-Glimmering Greenhouses, a seasonal version of the tranquil boat ride in the Land pavilion. Normally best ridden in the daylight, this is one time to wait to do this attraction when the sun goes down and the lights go up.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind - Holiday Remix

      21/24
EPCOT's newest attraction also gets the holiday treatment-Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind trades its usual soundtrack of six different pop songs from the '70s and '80s to an original holiday remix, "Run, Run, Rocket." To ride, join the Virtual Queue at 7 a.m. or 1 p.m. or purchase an Individual Lightning Lane.

      Snowman Search

      22/24
Returning for its third year, "Olaf's Holiday Tradition Expedition" is an all-ages scavenger hunt around World Showcase that teaches participants about holiday traditions around the world and is a great way to introduce kids to the various holidays and cultures represented at the festival. Buy a map for $9.99 and search for the hidden Olafs and then head to a redemption location for your prize.

      Prize Pouch

      23/24
One of our favorite scavenger hunt prizes we've seen in a while, choose one of these Frozen-themed coin purses as your redemption prize for completing "Olaf's Holiday Tradition Expedition." A little secret-you don't have to finish the hunt to pick up your prize, so go ahead and collect yours at any point during your visit.

      That Time of Year

      24/24
Olaf seems to have solidified his place as this festival's mascot, and we're here for it. This year's festival merchandise collection again stars our favorite happy snowman and his pal Sven, making their way onto mugs, MagicBands, Spirit Jerseys, ornaments and much more.
