      The Pier

      Yes, it’s a long pier, but keep in mind this was done for environmental purposes to respect the land and sea-life here in Eleuthera. It’s about a 10 to 15 minute walk depending on your personal walking pace. There are golf carts to wait for a ride for those who need it.

      Mabrika Cove Family Cabanas

      These family cabanas are the first guests see when walking down the pier. Guests who opt for these will enjoy private beach area, however, they will still need to jump on the tram to visit the heart of Lookout Cay where the rest of the fun is located.

      Tram Ride

      Hop on the tram for a five minute ride over to the main part of Lookout Cay. Along the way you’ll see untouched parts of the island and hear a cute story about the local flora and fauna on island. Guests must take the tram back and forth, as walking is not allowed.

      Strollers and Wagons

      Once off the tram, guests will see a few rows of strollers and wagons. These are available on a first come first serve basis. The large strollers with strong wheels can power through the sand, and it’s a great option for any littles in need of an afternoon nap while parents stroll along the nature trail.

      Family Beach

      There is no pool on island, but who needs a pool when there’s the beautiful blue waters the Bahamas is so well known for. There’s tons of lounge chairs and umbrellas for guests to relax and or tan at before cooling off in the water. It’s tough to beat the breathtaking view here.

      Rush Out Gush Out

      This family water play area will help you quickly forget there’s no pool on the island. The design is inspired by a Junkanoo shack, with vibrant colors all around. Kids of all ages, even those in swim diapers, are welcome here.

      Play-Play Pavilion

      The Play-Play pavilion is the starting point for the Fun in the Sun Beach Bash. Enjoy fun games with your favorite characters, like Goofy’s Good Day Limbo, Pluto’s Pineapple Ring Toss, and Chip-n-Dale’s Water Brigade. You’ll also hear Disney classic songs remixed with Bahamian flare.

      Sebastian’s Cove

      This splash area is for the littles. It’s open all day, but kids 3-12 years-old can enjoy the Kids Club from 12-2 pm, with lunch served at 12:45 p.m., allowing parents to enjoy some island time on their own.

      True-True BBQ

      This buffet-style eatery gives guests a plethora of options for dining, from burgers and hot dogs and fried chicken sandwiches, to ribs, grilled chicken, seafood and rice bowls. Lookout Cay also as another restaurant for guests, dubbed True-True-Too BBQ, which is exactly the same menu, giving guests another place to eat without having to wakk to far. You’ll want to make sure you eat during the traditional lunch hours though, as they close up shop here at 2 p.m.

      Serenity Bay

      Serenity Bay is the adults-only area on Lookout Cay. Guests can rent cabanas here, and they have their own restaurant with Serenity Bay BBQ, which offers the same menu as True-True BBQ. And of course, Serenity Bay has its own bar, dubbed the Blue Hole Bar, where guests can sip on Kalik Sands, a local Bahamian beer, specialty cocktails, seltzers like White Claw, zero-proof cocktails, and even specialty coffee drinks.

      Serenity Bay Cabanas

      Guest 18 and older have their own spot at Lookout Cay with Serenity Bay. These large cabanas are available for rent. Here you’ll find chairs, couches, lounge chairs, a stocked mini fridge and a sensational view of the Bahamas clear blue waters.

      Watering Hole Bar

      One of three bars on Lookout Cay main area, the Watering Hole is conveniently located near the center. It has shower spots on the side to rinse the sand off from the beach, and it features Kalik Sands, a local Bahamian beer, specialty cocktails, seltzers like White Claw, zero-proof cocktails, and also specialty coffee drinks. Other bars on the island include the Bow & Ribbon Bar and the Reef & Wreck Bar

      Sandsational Smoothies

      Sandsational Smoothies offers guests an ideal spot to beat the heat with a delicious frozen concoction. There are alcoholic and non-alcoholic options here, and it’ll be hard to not purchase the adorable special pineapple cup out on display up front. The special pineapple cup can also be purchased at the other bars on the island for those seeking a different alcoholic option beyond what’s offered here.

      ‘RUSH! A Junkanoo Celebration’

      Junkanoo is the national celebration of the Bahamas. Disney collaborated with the National Junkanoo Committee to ensure authenticity of this rich tradition. There will be two performances of ‘RUSH! A Junkanoo Celebration’ during the day. Guests will spot Disney characters in their new Junkanoo inspired costumes kick starting the processional parade followed by local musicians and dancers performing the traditional Junkanoo celebration at the Goombay Cultural Center. It’s an absolute must experience to fully immerse yourself into the Bahamas experience.

      Merchandise Shops

      There are several chances for Disney fanatics to grab special merchandise of Lookout Cay. There’s First & Last Chance stand located up front after the pier, and once off the tram guests can find shirts, hats, dresses, Mickey ears, Mickey and Minnie plushies and so much more at Disney T’ings. Right next door is Treasures of Eleuthera, which offers traditional Bahamian souvenirs with your favorite Disney characters on them.

      Nature Trail

      Guests can walk this nature trail to see the iconic Lighthouse of Eleuthera, or they can also rent bikes to cruise down the paved paths. Creating the nature trail allowed for a more sustainable approach to the island, respecting the land and still allowing space for the local flora and fauna. Be on the lookout for the land crab as you stroll along this lush trail.
