Following the acquisition of its new expedition ship, G Adventures is launching four new itineraries, two of which will restart its Arctic polar program, with more expedition itineraries to be announced in the weeks ahead.?
The tour operator hasn¡¯t operated in the Arctic region since 2019, before the pandemic. Those who book one of the ten different departures will learn about local wildlife from onboard experts, take a polar plunge in freezing waters, experience the midnight sun for themselves and much more.?
The new G Adventures¡¯ polar ship, Expedition, which offers space for 128 travelers on the expedition cruises, will explore Antarctica beginning October 2025, before heading to Europe and the Arctic in the spring of 2026.?
Five trips to the Scottish Isles, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Greenland and Labrador will also launch in the weeks to come.?

The Realm of the Polar Bear itinerary is an eight-day expedition sailing through the Svalbard archipelago, encountering reindeer, whales, arctic foxes and more. The trip begins at $5,749 per person.?
The second itinerary is a longer, 15-day Arctic Highlights Southbound journey, which visits the Northwest Spitsbergen National Park, Greenland and other fascinating places. This trip begins at $8,999 per person.?
The Antarctica Classic itinerary is an 11-day trip beginning at $9,299 per person. The journey sails through the South Shetland Islands and visits the Antarctic peninsula to view penguins, whales, glaciers and other stunning scenes.?
Lastly, the 21-day Spirit of Shackleton trip visits Antarctica, South Georgia and the Falkland Islands. The trip starts at $23,199 per person.?
G Adventures is expanding its portfolio significantly this year. The new USTOA member recently launched new trips to Indonesia and Pakistan, and debuted a new Rail Collection series of trips that focus on trains as the main travel method.?
