AmaWaterways has a new ship sailing on the Douro River in Portugal.
This week, the 102-guest AmaSintra joined AmaDouro and AmaVida on the waterway, offering guests even more opportunities to explore the region with AmaWaterways.
The ship has 51 staterooms, a sun deck pool, a fitness room and a main restaurant offering regional specialties. It will sail the line¡¯s ¡°Enticing Douro¡± itinerary, a 7-night voyage with stops in Porto, R¨¦gua and Salamanca, with an optional 3-night pre-cruise land program in Lisbon.

AmaSintra¡¯s godmother is Jenn Lee, president of Vacation Planners. She officially christened the vessel at a ceremony in Porto on April 17.?

It¡¯s been a busy week for AmaWaterways, which also recently launched its first ship on the Magdalena River in Colombia.
