Bolstering its support for the travel trade, AIC Hotel Group has formed a host agency sales department, naming Laura Blanco to head up the new venture as director of host agency sales.

Blanco, who spent 15 years at Cruise Planners, where she played a crucial role in ¡°diversifying the business in land travel and working as the supplier relations liaison.
She also served as a business development manager for Sandals and Beaches resorts and Costa Cruises.
