Cura?ao completed 2024 with a 20 percent year-over-year increase
in land-based and cruise ship visitors, said Cura?ao Tourist Board (CTB) officials.
The sectors combined to bring 1.57 million visitors to the Caribbean
destination last year, driven in part by a 30 percent increase in travelers
from the United States.
Cura?ao hosted 700,249 overnight, land-based visitors, 35,499
daytime travelers and 834,922 cruise passengers across 2024. The destination¡¯s strong
2024 results were driven in part by a record December, during which Cura?ao hosted
73,669 overnight, land-based visitors, a 16 percent year-over-year increase.
The month also represented the first in which Cura?ao hosted more than 70,000 overnight visitors, said CTB
officials. The United States represented Cura?ao¡¯s second-largest visitor
source market in 2024 (behind The Netherlands), with arrivals up 30 percent year-over-year.
Visitors from the USA stayed an average of 6.4 nights, with
most travelers originating from New York, Florida, New Jersey, Texas, and
Georgia, said CTB officials.
The United States is one of the Cura?ao source markets ¡°to have

said CTB officials.
