Cruise line Margaritaville
at Sea announced that the third ship being added to its fleet will be named
Beachcomber.
According to Cruise
Critic, officials from Margaritaville at Sea have revealed that the
3,450-passenger vessel will feature the same beach-themed and family-friendly
amenities found on the cruise line¡¯s sister ships.
Beachcomber will feature the 5 O¡¯Clock Somewhere pool bar,
the Hemisphere Dancer bar, and the Cheeseburger in Paradise restaurant,
offering passengers the opportunity to purchase the License to Chill package,
which includes drinks, Wi-Fi, and specialty dining.?
¡°With Beachcomber, we wanted to create a design that
captures the spirit of fun, warmth, and relaxed adventure,¡± Margaritaville at
Sea's head of design, Martha Brabham, told Cruise Critic. ¡°We drew inspiration
from nostalgic beach scenes, vintage surf art, and the carefree escapism that
defines the brand.¡±
The cruise line announced that its new ship will be the
largest in its fleet when it debuts and will offer 15 exclusive onboard
experiences, with more details to be revealed in the coming months.
While Margaritaville
at Sea did not reveal an official debut date for Beachcomber, it will
remain with Costa Cruises¡¯ Costa Fortuna through late 2026. The ship¡¯s homeport
and itineraries will be unveiled later this summer.
¡°Building on the magic and momentum of Islander, we set out
to create an experience that¡¯s even more immersive, playful, and full of
unexpected delights,¡± Margaritaville at Sea CEO Christopher Ivy said.
