Disney Cruise Line is sharing new details about the central public gathering space aboard its new ship, Disney Adventure, which is set to debut from Singapore next year.

The 208,000-gross-ton vessel is a collaboration between the cruise line and the Singapore Tourism Board. It can accommodate up to 6,700 guests and 2,500 crew members, and will offer 3- and 4-night voyages consisting of only sea days.

The ship will have seven themed areas featuring some of the brand¡¯s most beloved characters and stories: Disney Imagination Garden, Disney Discovery Reef, San Fransokyo Street, Wayfinder Bay, Town Square, Marvel Landing and Toy Story Place.

The central hub of the ship will be the Disney Imagination Garden, which will feature an open-air garden and a three-deck-tall castle art piece. The space will also have a promenade, a stage, two quick-service eateries, a bar and garden-view staterooms.

"Disney Imagination Garden is the heart and soul of the Disney Adventure, where our guests will interact with our Disney, Pixar and Marvel stories in a whole new way," says Laura Cabo, portfolio executive creative director for Walt Disney Imagineering.?

The garden will be filled with blooming flowers, shaped topiaries, tall trees and cascading vines designed to look like storybook cut-outs, set amidst lanterns and trellises. Characters from Disney, Pixar, and Marvel will also be stationed throughout the garden.

The Garden Stage will be situated in front of an open ¡°lawn¡± area near a massive staircase that will serve as amphitheater-style seating. The staircase will be flanked by leafy tree branches, hanging lanterns and arches.

Guests who climb to the top of the staircase will find a courtyard and bar with cut-out trees and animal characters. The courtyard will feature a Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey Mouse topiary.

The stage itself will host an array of high-energy shows and other programming, incorporating its three-deck-high LED screens, special effects and theatrical tools. ¡°Avengers Assemble!¡± will be one of the Garden Stage¡¯s signature experiences, featuring Deadpool, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, Black Panther, The Scarlet Witch, Ms. Marvel, Loki, Red Skull, Taskmaster and more.

The two quick-service eateries in the Disney Imagination Garden are inspired by "The Jungle Book" and "Moana.¡± Both will have indoor and outdoor seating, so guests can take in the shows on the Garden Stage or people-watch while enjoying their meal.

Mowgli's Eatery will specialize in Indian cuisine, including vegetarian and regional dishes inspired by Mowgli's journey. Gramma Tala's Kitchen, meanwhile, will showcase the flavors of the Pacific Islands and Asia.

"The size and scale of this space provided us with so many opportunities to dream big and try new things with our experiential design, creating first-of-a-kind experiences for our guests, from all-new entertainment to delicious dining and lots of magical surprises sprinkled throughout,¡± says Cabo. ¡°Rooted in the rich legacy of Disney storytelling, we're creating an area that will open doors to new adventures and encourage guests to create magic of their own."

Disney Cruise Line plans to unveil more details about the other themed areas in the future.
