Disney Cruise Line¡¯s new ship Disney Adventure will set sail from Singapore when it debuts next year.

The company purchased the partially completed ship in 2022 after the previous owner filed for bankruptcy. At the time, it was called Global Dream, but Disney renamed it the Disney Adventure.

The 6,700-guest vessel will be Disney¡¯s first ship to homeport in Asia, offering 3- and 4-night journeys for at least five years in partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board.

¡°We¡¯re bringing the magic of Disney Cruise Line to Asia for the first time ever, and we want to give our guests the cruise relaxation and Disney fun they can only experience aboard one of our ships,¡± says Sharon Siskie, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Cruise Line.?

The 208,000-gross-ton ship will have seven themed areas: Disney Imagination Garden, Disney Discovery Reef, San Fransokyo Street, Wayfinder Bay, Town Square, Marvel Landing and Toy Story Place. Each one incorporates Disney adventures and characters, from Moana and Mowgli to Cinderella and Snow White.

¡°When they set sail on the Disney Adventure, guests will find incredible, immersive areas that bring the worlds of Disney, Pixar and Marvel to life in ways like never before¡ªand these uniquely Disney experiences will inspire families to reconnect, recharge and make unforgettable memories that they¡¯ll cherish forever,¡± says Siskie.

Disney plans to share more about the ship¡¯s maiden voyage and itineraries in the future.?
