Rail Europe, in conjunction with National Rail, introduced the "Great Rail Sale of 2025," with discounts of up to 50 off UK rail trips through March 2025.
The sale is in effect until Monday, January 20, for travel between Friday, January 17 and March 31, 2025.
¡°Discounts apply to advance tickets, which must be booked three to seven days in advance, depending on the train operator,¡± Rail Europe said. ¡°In cases where advance tickets aren¡¯t offered, select off-peak tickets are available.¡±
Just some of the companies participating in the sale include Avanti West Coast, London North Eastern Railway, Govia Thameslink Railway and South Western Railways.
¡°We are delighted to help travelers access National Rail¡¯s ¡®Great Rail Sale¡¯ through our platform,¡± said Rail Europe Commercial Director Florence Pasquier ¡°This initiative not only makes train travel more affordable but also encourages sustainable and enjoyable exploration of the UK.¡±
Rail Europe¡¯s portfolio includes 50 different train companies across Europe. National Rail offers rail trips in England, Scotland and Wales.
