With two flights a week on Thursdays and Sundays, Delta and
the LATAM group are reactivating the direct
route between Santiago, Chile and Orlando, Florida.
Launching on June 16, 2024, and operating through September
28, 2024, the route will cover the summer season in the Northern Hemisphere,
providing a direct and convenient option for Chileans seeking an escape from
the Southern Hemisphere winter to Central Florida¡¯s array of all-ages theme
parks and attractions.
Resuming after a pause in 2018, the seasonal route marks a
new step in the Joint Venture between Delta and LATAM after they previously
launched six new routes directly connecting South America with the United
States.
With this new
route, Delta and LATAM plan to fly approximately 12,800 customers during
the summer season in the United States. Aside from Chilean customers, the route
will also make it easier for travelers from Brazil to access Orlando during the
peak travel season.
Beginning June 16, 2024, flights from the Chilean capital to
Orlando will take off every Thursday and Sunday at 11:15 a.m. (local time) and
arrive at 8:15 p.m. (local time).
Flight departures from Orlando will operate every Thursday
and Sunday at 10:25 p.m. (local time), arriving in Santiago at 7 a.m. (local
time) the next day. From July forward, Sunday flights will be operated on
Saturdays with the same itinerary.?
