Delta Air Lines¡¯ futuristic domestic first-class reclining seats, which debuted on the Airbus A321neo in May of 2022, will soon be expanded to each of the airline¡¯s Boeing 737-800 aircraft.?
According to The Points Guy, who received the information from Delta, the newly designed seats have been well received and feature large privacy wings, more storage, better inflight entertainment, reclining options and more. There will be sixteen of the first-class seats onboard the aircraft in a 2-2 configuration.?
Other flight upgrades to the planes include better lavatories, with touchless flushing and hand-washing.?
There are currently 76 Boeing 737-800s undergoing the upgrades, with the projected timeline to finish by the end of 2025.?
Delta told The Points Guys, "we are committed to maintaining an elevated and premium customer experience across all touchpoints of the travel journey ¨C this includes making improvements to our aircraft interiors as part of ongoing, planned retrofits."
