Travel Advisor Fam Trip

In December, the Saudi Arabia Tourism Authority hosted a familiarization trip, inviting travel advisors to experience the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from December 6-12, 2022.

Lindsay Feinberg?of?Belle Voyages participated in the fam and here are some of the highlights of her trip.

Flying Saudia

Travel advisors flew business class on Saudia Airlines, arriving in Riyadh. Feinberg raved about the food and drinks served during the flight.

Exploring Diriyah

Travel advisors visited Diriyah, considered the birthplace of the first Saudi state. Founded in 1446 in Wadi Hanifa, it was a crossroads for culture and commerce. Visitors can explore the history of the region at the Diriyah Museum.

Entertainment in Riyadh

During their visit to Riyadh, travel advisors had dinner and fun at Blvd., a 220-acre perennial recreational and commercial complex in the Hittin neighborhood that operates primarily during the annual Riyadh Season entertainment festival.

Exploring Hegra

Travel advisors visited Hegra, which was the second city of the Nabataean kingdom and is the largest preserved site of the Nabataeans south of Petra.

Reflecting on Beauty

Travel advisors were wowed by Maraya, which quite literally reflects the beauty of the AlUla, and is used for conferences, events and performances.

Travel advisors enjoyed some downtime overlooking the Ashar Valley from the stunning pool at Habitas AlUla.
