Rail Europe, the reference brand for European train booking, is excited to announce the?appointment?of?Robert From as Chief Growth Officer. In this executive role, Robert will oversee the B2C business, including customer?acquisition, growth, retention, ancillaries, and monetization. His arrival comes at a pivotal time as Rail Europe is set to launch a new booking experience for its B2C customers on both the website and app by beginning of 2025.?

Robert brings over 15 years of experience in scaling technology and media businesses internationally. Previously, as?Commercial COO at MaaS Global, he was responsible for managing the biggest global B2C MaaS platform called WHIM, also dubbed as the ¡°Netflix of mobility¡±. In this position, he led the company to significant revenue, customer and usage growth ¨C bringing the total number of customers served to 650k and facilitating 25M trips.

Before joining MaaS Global, Robert served in multiple leadership roles at Google in Northern Europe and Southeast Asia. In his last position he played a key role in expanding YouTube monetization in Finland and the Nordics. During his time at Google, he also successfully helped companies in technology, e-commerce, FMCG and consumer services to grow sales, build their brands and serve their customers better.
