F1 X
A 20,000-square-foot journey through the heritage and future of Formula 1, F1 X combines historic artifacts with interactive activations. Guests begin their adventure by creating a Pit Pass and personalized driver profile before diving into the experience’s three key zones:
- Learn: Start at the ETC—a broadcast center replica that simulates the action of a live race. From there, guests encounter lifelike holograms of iconic F1 personalities and explore “75 Years of F1,” a walk through the sport’s timeline from 1950 to 2025. Rare items on display include original race cars, helmets, suits and trophies, many of which are being shown in North America for the first time. The “F1 Factory” exhibit highlights engineering advancements, with items like Lando Norris’ 2021 race seat, a unique 2022 McLaren front wing and a 2023 Aston Martin AMR23 replica.
- Create: Visitors can customize their own F1 race car in the Design Studio, selecting colors and livery that are then projection-mapped onto a life-size car body—perfect for a photo-op.
- Experience: A hands-on section that puts fans in the driver’s seat. The “Pit Wall Experience” simulates race-day strategy with real-time team communication, while the “Pit Stop Demo” allows guests to try their hand at a tire change using real pit crew tools. In the “Driver Briefing Room,” the mental and physical demands of racing at the highest level are explored. The finale is a hyper-realistic “4D Theater” ride through the Las Vegas Strip Circuit, complete with helmet-cam visuals, engine sounds, motion effects and the scent of burning rubber. The experience wraps up in the “Cool Down Room” with branded photo ops and a celebratory podium moment.
F1 DRIVE
The first karting attraction of its kind in North America, F1 DRIVE places guests on a segment of the actual Las Vegas Strip Circuit. The high-speed indoor/outdoor course extends 1,696 feet with 31 technical turns. Drivers race in karts inspired by F1 technology, capable of hitting speeds up to 30 mph and loaded with features like a Drag Reduction System (DRS), Energy Recovery System (ERS), LED steering displays and realistic engine sounds.
- The Karts: Karts are equipped with LCD steering wheel displays showing lap times, interval gaps and boost indicators. Drivers hear authentic 2023 F1 engine sounds and receive guidance from a virtual Race Engineer, who provides track status, DRS/ERS cues and overtaking tips.
- The Track: The circuit includes demanding corners like hairpins, chicanes double apexes. Kerbs decorated with playing cards offer an homage to the Las Vegas Strip Circuit’s flair.
F1 HUB
The social center of the destination, F1 HUB brings fans together for dining, racing simulators, shopping and lounge-style relaxation. No ticket is required to access the store or restaurant.
- Fuel & Fork: This sleek eatery offers elevated comfort cuisine ranging from hand-crafted pasta to gourmet sliders and pizzas. Featured dishes include Slow-Braised Short Rib Bucatini, Truffle Smash Burger, Spicy Pig Pizza and Caviar Sliders. Guests can enjoy cocktails while watching race replays on large screens. Open daily for lunch and dinner. Reservations encouraged.
- F1 SIMS: Advanced simulators let guests experience pro-level racing with motion technology and immersive audio-visual effects.
- Flagship F1 Store: Styled like a Formula 1 garage, the retail space houses the largest selection of official F1 merchandise in the U.S., including Las Vegas exclusives and customizable items. A replica of Fernando Alonso’s Ferrari F138 is also on display. Nevada residents receive a 10 percent discount.
- F1 HUB Lounge: A stylish setting where guests can sip F1-themed cocktails and watch racing content in a more laid-back environment.
Grand Prix Plaza is open Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to midnight. The attraction will temporarily close in early fall to accommodate race preparations, with a reopening date to be announced.
