Silversea Cruises is adding new experiences to its 2026 world cruise.
Called ¡°The Curious and the Sea,¡± the voyage is being offered aboard Silver Dawn. It departs January 6, 2026, from Fort Lauderdale and ends May 27, 2026, in Lisbon, taking guests to various destinations in six continents along the way.?
Guests can enjoy a variety of new enhancements during the sailing, including two new exclusive events in Cape Town and Madeira. In Cape Town, guests can participate in ¡°Diamonds Are Forever,¡± a culinary event at the Vergelegen Conservatory hosted in partnership with South African Michelin-starred chef, Jan Hendrik van der Westhuizen. On the island of Madeira, Silversea will host the ¡°Feast of Flowers in Funchal¡± event to bid farewell to the annual floral festival and celebrate local customs.
Guest chefs will also be joining the sailing, including Pia Quintana Beristain, Michael Demagistris, Celia Lam and Alexander Smalls. The guest chefs will curate dining experiences and host interactive culinary talks and demonstrations.
Finally, Silversea is also bringing enhanced entertainment offerings onboard. Guests can enjoy the Big Band sounds of the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, stepping back in time to The Swing Era during the West Africa segment of the voyage. Port-specific showcases, meanwhile, will feature local music, dance traditions and storytelling.
