JetBlue Launches First-Ever Nonstop Flights From LA To Nassau, Bahamas

This week marked a significant development for The Islands of The?Bahamas?and JetBlue, as they celebrated the airline��s first nonstop flight connecting Los Angeles Nassau, the vibrant Caribbean nation��s capital city.

This new direct route will serve to streamline travel between the West Coast and the West Indian archipelago, making it simpler and more convenient for California travelers to reach the paradisiacal tropical destinations renowned for its unspoiled beaches, crystal-clear waters and spirited culture.

"As we have seen, this direct link between coasts will open doors for countless travellers to experience the beauty, warmth and rich heritage of our country without the hassle of multiple connections," the Honourable I.?Chester Cooper,?Bahamas?Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments & Aviation, said in a statement. "We are thrilled to continue welcoming passengers on the new JetBlue service, ensuring their arrival to our shores is nothing short of extraordinary."?

JetBlue��s inaugural #2710 from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) landed at Nassau��s Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) on Saturday, November 4. There, passengers received a genuine Bahamian welcome in the form of a lively, traditional Bahamian Junkanoo celebration, kicking off what will certainly be their unforgettable experience in The Bahamas.

Visitors arriving in Nassau and the offshore Paradise Island are greeted by a range of luxury resorts, diverse dining options, retail opportunities and a dynamic nightlife scene, and enjoy an endless supply of authentic Bahamian culture, from art exhibitions to historic landmarks. The bustling capital also serves as a fitting gateway from which to start exploring the brilliant beauty of all of The Bahamas�� 16 unique islands.

JetBlue��s new direct flights will operate once weekly, departing from both Los Angeles and Nassau on Saturdays at 700 a.m. and 4:42 p.m., respectively.
