      The British Museum

      1/10
Bringing a small child to a history museum feels counterintuitive, but The British Museum is prepared for even the smallest of visitors. Parents can pick up a free activity trail at the front desk with tasks like finding shapes and colors in each room. Try visiting first thing in the morning on a weekday to avoid the crowds.

      Portobello Market

      2/10
Little ones will love the energy of this popular market. Pastel-colored row houses line the streets, while street performers and an endless sea of people make people-watching especially entertaining. There are plenty of pastry shops to keep the kids happy and cafes to keep the adults caffeinated and sane.

      Regent's Park

      3/10
Regent's Park is the place to go when your child needs to stretch their legs, as it offers four playgrounds to choose from. When you've had enough of pushing your toddler on the swings, you can also check out London Zoo located at the north end of the park.

      The London Eye

      4/10
Enjoy a bird's eye view of the city from the safety of your pod in one of the world's tallest Ferris wheels. Children under two are free, but the experience feels priceless when you see their faces pressed to the glass, enchanted by the magnificence of London. Make it even more magical by visiting just before sunset.

      Kensington Palace Gardens

      5/10
The actual tour of Kensington Palace is not necessarily toddler-friendly, but head out to the gardens and you'll find yourself in a child's paradise. The hedge maze next to the Orangery restaurant is nothing short of delightful. Kids can really use their imagination at the Princess Diana Memorial Playground, which is modeled after the adventures of Peter Pan.

      Double-Decker Bus

      6/10
The act of getting around itself can be an adventure in London. Riding a famous double-decker red bus is a quintessential London activity that makes for great memories. Kids under 11 travel for free on public transportation, making the double-decker bus economical as well as entertaining.

      Arsenal Stadium Tour & Museum

      7/10
Although this tour is really geared toward adults and older children, toddlers can still find things to enjoy at Arsenal Stadium. It's a self-guided audio tour, giving families with little ones plenty of time to climb the stadium seats and explore the locker rooms. Children under five get in for free.

      Thames River

      8/10
A walk along the South Bank of the River Thames is exciting but crowded. Families can stroll the Riverside Walk for some of the city's best views, including Parliament and Big Ben. There are plenty of tourist destinations, restaurants and even parks where the little ones can get out of the stroller and run.

      High Tea

      9/10
Perhaps the thought of taking your young child to a fancy high tea is alarming, but you still want to experience this classic tradition. Thankfully, London is full of venues that host kid-friendly afternoon teas. The Milestone Hotel offers a Prince and Princess Tea, and One Aldwych has a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory-themed afternoon tea, to name a few.

      Tower Of London

      10/10
As with most cultural destinations, the tour is meant for older children and adults, but there is so much to discover for young ones, too. There is no better way to spark your toddler's imagination than seeing the crown jewels, Beefeaters and royal guards. Bonus: they will have a great view of Tower Bridge and London Bridge.
