Travel advisors who complete the Going Cuckoo - Southwest Germany Training Course will increase their knowledge of the region, which will in turn increase their confidence and ability to sell the destination. Specialists will also receive marketing and sales materials to share with prospective clients and a personalized logo to add to emails, websites or other professional documents, along with a printable certificate.

The Going Cuckoo - Southwest Germany Training Course is free to use. Travel advisors can sign up with their name, email address, username and password. After they complete their registration, advisors are encouraged to begin learning the first three courses, or modules, which address introductory information such as the best time to travel to southwest Germany, what travelers should know before they go and more.

After finishing the three Basic Knowledge courses, advisors can choose three Special Interest Courses to take. These range from the region's spa heritage to its food and more. After completing the three chosen Special Interest Courses, advisors are required to complete the two Inside Information courses, which focus on tours and insider tips. Once completed, advisors earn the title of Southwest Germany Specialist!

The first three courses are under Basic Information. Cuckoo Highlights offers a quick overview of the destination and its attractions as a whole, showcasing the beloved parts of southwest Germany, such as the Black Forest, the region's many spas, its wine and beer history and much more.

The second Basic Information Course is called Travel Information and is an overview of the ways to get to Baden-W¨¹rttemberg, how to get around once there, what to pack and more. The third course is called Best Time to Travel, and it provides a look into the best times to visit the region. The answer? Anytime! It also provides a look into what travelers can do each season, including fun festivals.

There are currently six Special Interest Courses for travel advisors to choose from. Advisors are required to choose three of them. From the region's culinary delights to the focus on wellness and medical spas or even learning all about the home of the cuckoo clock, these Special Interest Courses offer great insight into parts of the region and its attractions. If an advisor has a lot of outdoorsy clients or sells a lot of adventure travel, they should choose the Active Holidays course, for example.

After completing the quick Basic Knowledge Courses and the Special Interest Courses, it's time to take the Inside Information Courses. There are only two of these, and upon completion, advisors will receive all the benefits that come with being a specialist. The first of these courses is the Cuckoo Insider Tips.

It highlights some unique festivals and off-the-beaten-path destinations that non-experts might not know about, such as Lake Constance's Reichenau Island, where travelers will find Werkgalerie Hochwart, which is a teahouse-turned art gallery, ceramics workshop and cafe, all surrounded by vineyards with views of the lake!

The second course is the Cuckoo Tour Suggestions. A course that's helpful for travelers building their own tour around the region, it highlights different touring options, from river cruises to scenic drives and even a pre-set itinerary for travelers wanting to tour around the region's spas.
