Virgin Voyages' annual Eat & Drink Festival returns to the Caribbean and Mediterranean this July, marking its fourth year with innovative flavors and bold beverage experiences.?
The cruise line's newest ship, Brilliant Lady, will debut her inaugural North American season in September, inspiring this year's culinary theme "A Taste of Brilliant" — a celebration of flavors from her four iconic homeports: New York City, Miami, Los Angeles and Seattle.
The festival spans throughout July across 11 specialty cruises, featuring new events, menus and signature experiences. Each ship will host unique pop-ups alongside a new fleet-wide experience called "Passport to Flavors" — a pocket-sized guide for guests' culinary journey.
The passport includes two components: "Passport to Eat" guides visitors to The Galley for exclusive Culinary Collective creations with recipes and tasting notes, while "Passport to Drink" creates a bar-hopping treasure hunt across seven venues where guests collect stamps while sampling new cocktails and mocktails.
Featured events include the Spirited Dinner Series, offering intimate four-course meals in The Wake's private dining room with paired wines, craft beers or premium spirits. Guests can discover the Hidden Speakeasy where master mixologists craft cocktails with special ingredients, or attend Spirit Master Classes focusing on martinis, bourbon or whisky depending on the ship.
Additional experiences feature new menu launches from Extra Virgin and Gunbae restaurants, culinary demonstrations revealing professional cooking techniques, and an Afternoon Tea Extravaganza with tea-infused cocktails, premium Macallan whiskies and decadent chocolates.
With limited availability across just 11 specialty cruises, Virgin Voyages encourages food enthusiasts to book their summer culinary adventure quickly, emphasizing that the most coveted gastronomic experiences are never mass-produced.
