Rancho Oso RV & Camping Resort
3/7Vacation at a western-themed ranch secluded in the beautiful mountains of Santa Barbara, where you can experience a rodeo, learn to lasso and help take care of the resident horses. Nestled between the Los Padres National Forest and the Santa Ynez River, the campground offers visitors fresh air and 310 beautiful acres to explore, which are filled with a rich history dating back to 1845. That's when a parcel of land including what is now Rancho Oso was granted to Jose Dominguez by Pio Pico, the Governor of Mexico. This land, called Rancho Los Prietas y Nagalayegua, consisted of 48,728 acres and at the time of the land grant, the first known building was constructed where Rancho Oso is today. Guests can choose to stay in a super-quirky teepee, covered Conestoga wagon, or opt for a less rustic experience in a cozy cabin. Whatever you choose, you'll enjoy a fully immersive experience with endless opportunities for horseback riding, hiking and photography at this unique western ranch.
