      Scenic beaches, interesting wildlife, rolling vineyards, and quaint towns make Uruguay an up-and-coming destination in South America.?

      Known as one of the safest places in South America, it is a dreamy destination that has quirk and character, and a rich culture to share.

      The most common way to get around Uruguay, from city to city, is to use coach travel. The bus system is well-connected throughout the country, so you can get to wherever you need to be. We found the journeys to be quite enjoyable as you can see views of the countryside.?

      The inter-city bus systems are also the most popular form of public transport to get around each place.?

      Another good alternative is hiring a car to travel around the country. If you have a valid driver¡¯s license in your home country, you may be able to use it or convert it for use in Uruguay, depending on the country you¡¯re from.

      Uruguay is fantastic to visit at any time of the year, due to its consistently comfortable temperatures. Summer is the most popular time to visit, as travelers enjoy the warmth.?

      However, if you want to avoid crowds during the peak season, we recommend visiting during spring or autumn as the weather will still be pleasant.

      Climate And Weather

      Uruguay has fairly mild weather throughout the year, with warm summers and cold winters. The weather never experiences extreme increases or decreases, so it is always quite comfortable.

      There is also no specific wet season. The rainfall is slightly more frequent during the warmer months, but there is occasional rain throughout the year.?
