      Important Things To Know

A perfect balance between exhilarating city life and breathtakingly scenic sections of nature, South Korea is a relatively untouched gem in the Korean Peninsula, located in East Asia.?

With Korean food and culture becoming increasingly popular all over the world, having the authentic experience at the root of it all is a must for any seasoned traveler.

The currency used in South Korea is the Korean Won.?

      Climate And Weather

In South Korea, the winter is cold and dry and predominantly runs between December to February. While there is some snowfall in the mountainous regions, the main cities do not typically experience any snow during winter.?

The summer is hot and wet and runs from June to August. There is significant rainfall during this time, with the typhoon season falling between June and September.?

During spring and autumn, the temperatures are mild.?

      Political Caution

While conflict between South Korea and North Korea does not often lead to conflict incidents that affect residents and tourists, the situation can be unpredictable. Stay alert to any warnings and directions from government officials before visiting and while in the country.??

There are several effective methods of transport that we recommend when visiting South Korea.?

To get around the country, you can travel by plane, ferry, or rail.

Korean Air and Asiana are the national airlines that offer short, budget-friendly domestic flights if you want to get from one city to another in the shortest space of time.?

If you are looking to visit one of Korea¡¯s many scenic islands, a ferry ride will be the best way to get there. Not only will it take you from coast to coast, but it is also a great way to see the country from the water.?

The trains connect Korean cities with a quick and highly efficient rail system. The route generally begins in Seoul and heads southwest and southeast from there.?

Getting around within one city also offers a multitude of quick and affordable options.?

One of the most popular modes of transport is the underground trains which are a speedy solution and easy to navigate. Another option for overground travel is the city bus system.

If you need to catch a quick ride from your hotel, taxis are readily available throughout the city. Hailing a taxi won¡¯t break the bank, as the rates are relatively low in South Korea, and charged by a meter.?

      When To Visit South Korea

We recommend visiting South Korea during spring and autumn because the temperatures are mild and pleasant during these seasons.?

However, a popular time of the year for tourists is around March until May. This is when you can catch the blooming of the cherry blossom trees, which is a breathtaking event to witness.?
